artists - Josh Doerksen.

Josh Doerksen is an unsigned musician who has been writing, and recording music over the last 8 years. He began his musical career creating simple songs on his keyboard, but quickly moved on to the guitar, bass and voice.  He spent most of his teenage years in and out a various bands, getting a feel for what it is to be a musician.   Within the last 3 years Josh has experimented with various genres of music ranging from Rap, to Techno, Folk to Punk Rock, and he has even dipped his feet in a style commonly known as the Barbershop Quartet.  Over the last year or so, Josh has focused on recording and producing some of his friends and other local artists, not only to increase his abilities as a producer but also to give his fellow songwriters a hand with their pursuit in a music career.  He has also done various collaborations with artists and will continue to be involved in whichever musical projects seem to come his way.  Although currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts Program at the University of Guelph, Josh dreams to one day pursue an eclectic career in music.  Whether it's writing jingles, playing gigs, recording and producing local artists or developing his talents as a singer/songwriter, Josh Doerksen is an incredibly talented and determine individual, a jack of all trades, who will continue to strive, learn, and grow as a musician for many years to come.
