Well, Anders known as Aftersun is a young and talented musician from the southern of Sweden, Malmoe.

Aftersun started off his career as a radio-moderator spinning music back in -98 when he was very young. Aftersun got more and more into the electronic dance music scene and he digged himself deeper in the search for his own style of music. He got inspired by great musicians like Paul Van Dyk, John Digweed, Paul Oakenfold, Sasha and many more. These artists has been and still are a huge inspiration source for Aftersun. He got himself a pair of decks and started to mix in 2002. Since then he has been spinning at clubs, pubs and international radio stations like Afterhours Djs, Trancesphere (ETN.fm), Basicbeats, Soundic Radio, Afternight Radio, RestlessLive Radio, Soundic radio and many more.

Aftersun was working as a resident Dj and had a weekly mix show at one of the largest radio stations in the world for about two years, Esounds united.

"Aftersun is a Club-Dj who began to mix House the year of 2002. Aftersun is a Dj who creates funky deep tunes with smooth and nice chill tunes into fantastic scapes. He has been a guest at several radio stations all over the world. //esounds united about Aftersun 2003"

In 2004, it came as a natural thing to start producing his own tunes. He got hooked instantly and started spreading out his musical ideas out to the community. Aftersun quicky realized how much mixing and producing had in common and he deceided to go a little bit more public with his own music in 2006. Aftersun has always been hooked into a lot of different genres when it comes to electronic dance music simply because he loves the music. His choice of spinning and producing progressive house has always been the case, although his interest in creating beautiful chillout and ambient music has been growing very much lately.

2008 was the year it all took of and Aftersun manageed to release 4 EP:s his first year, as well as join the team at 'ICE Media' as an A&R hunting for new talents. His very first release called 'Palms' containing an original dub mix plus a vocal mix (feat, Josh Doerksen) was released spring 2008 on the label 'Amplified Digital/ICE Media'. His second and third EP:s called 'Breezing' and 'The Island' got released the same year at the same label. These EP:s was based on the chillout, deep house and ambient style. His first EP based on his progressive music called 'Black Chamber EP' was released fall 2008 at 'Jetlag Digital' Germany. This track pretty soon became to most popular release in the labelcathalogue at Beatport.

'Hawaiian Punk' was a mixshow Aftersun started up and had going for a while. The mixshow was featuring livemixes from Aftersun with guests such as Dj Ampz, Hans Tavera & Darin Epsilon. This mixshow was broadcasted live at 'RestlessLive' and 'Restless Sessions'. Hopefully there will be some time to start up with these very special mixsets again soon.

Today, Aftersun is workng hard on pulling out new music. Upcoming releases is a FULL TIME ARTIST ALBUM coming out 2009 on 'Amplified Digital/IICE Media'. You can also expect to see some upcoming content from Aftersun's progressive house works as well. He's a busy guy you know ;)
